- Shuffle.exe ..... written by Ed Rayl
-
- This is a program that replaces the SHUFFLE.BAT file. It's
- faster and will work with any number of .GX1 files (up to
- 1000). It makes a first pass to count the number of *.GX1 files
- present. It then uses the system time clock to seed a random
- number generator to rename the filenames. It also doesn't care if
- there are gaps the the file numbering. So if you have K1.GX1,
- K2.GX1, and K4.GX1, it will work just fine and the gaps will be
- eliminated. I have to learn this semester. One pass will make
- them random and eliminate the gaps. You call the program as:
- SHUFFLE with no parameters. It will shuffle only the .GX1 files
- present in the current directory. I first converts to the .GXX
- extension, the same as the batch file and then renames them back.
- The program is included with Kanji Card by Ed's permission. The
- text file is a list of the Kanji numbers used by the "Learn
- Japanese" book, volume 2.
